Most of what our guests want isn't listed anywhere. Yoga on the deck, a private chef, a whale-watching boat, a driver to Galle. We arrange it. Just message us before you come, or while you're here, and we'll sort the dates, the cost, and the transport.

Our teacher comes to the pool deck at first light. Vinyasa or slow yin: she reads the room. Ninety minutes, then straight into a swim.

Warm oil, a quiet room, ninety minutes. Our therapist knows the house; the towels are already warm.

A guided walk along Marshmallow Beach with a thermos of ginger tea. Back before breakfast.

Our chef writes a menu to your table: six courses, Sri Lankan or wide-ranging. Cooked in the house kitchen, served under the palms.

Three hours with our house cook: roasting spice, grinding curry paste, folding a hopper. You eat what you make.

A short drive inland to a small family plantation we know. Watch bark stripped, oil distilled, and stay for a village lunch.

Marshmallow's soft breaks are five minutes away. Boards, wax, a patient instructor: most guests stand up by lesson two.

Blue whales pass this coast between December and April. The boat leaves before sunrise; you're back for lunch.

Two days in the jungle for leopards, elephants, and painted storks. Camp is comfortable; our guides are the best in the park.

A small catamaran off the south coast, drinks on board, back to shore in the dark. Best in the calm-sea months.

Forty minutes down the coast: ramparts, colonial lanes, and the best lunch in the south. Our driver waits.

Ella and the high plantations, one night in a colonial-era planter's house. The train back is the point.
